Chad Coombs is a Saskatoon-based multidisciplinary artist working across photography, collage, and painting. His practice is grounded in sustained observation and an interest in how things become what they are through their relationships with people, places, materials, and the conditions surrounding them.

Working across analog and constructed image-making processes, Coombs often begins without a predetermined conclusion, allowing photographs and objects to emerge through attention, encounter, and repetition. His work moves between intimate psychological subjects and broader environments, examining how identity, meaning, and perception are shaped without reducing them to a single interpretation.
